"Dwelling is not primarily inhabiting but taking care of and creating that space within which something comes into its own and flourishes." Martin Heidegger
Where they dwell is a sanctuary.
World may rustle up a storm
yet they hear its whisper of safety.
Nothing is more sacred
than its oath of bliss,
and their hope of prosperity.
Dwelling is a place of intimacy;
Where a murmur of touch is encouraged,
Where lessons in love are embraced,
Where secrets of life are shared.
They lie on their earthly dwelling.
Winds rustle through them noisily,
clouds bedew them with showers,
snow and frost hardens them,
feet trample them mercilessly.
Yet, they lie there; 'coz it is their dwelling!
